Since its establishment in 1996 under the guidance of her Guru Padmashree Dr. Sobha Naidu, KDA has flourished into a thriving institution with over 200 students, playing a vital role in promoting classical Indian dance and nurturing the growth of aspiring artists. Lakshmi Babu has presented an impressive 40 Rangapravesams (solo dance debuts) to date.

Lakshmi Babu has honed her skills under the tutelage of esteemed gurus such as Vempati Ravishankar, Veena Murthy, and Vedantam Venkatachalapathi. Her relentless pursuit of excellence and commitment have led her to conduct numerous tours and workshops, sharing her knowledge and expertise worldwide.

Lakshmi Babu has also founded Lasyam Creative Media, a media banner dedicated to further promoting and disseminating the beauty and richness of the arts. Her contribution to the global Kuchipudi community includes the production of acclaimed audio albums that serve as invaluable resources, further solidifying her standing as a trailblazer and preservation of this ancient art form.
