Kuchipudi Dance Academy (KDA) stands as a beacon of classical Indian dance in the DC Metro Area, founded by Guru Smt. Lakshmi Babu in 1996. With over 30 years of teaching experience, Lakshmi has fostered the growth of KDA into a dynamic institution, offering a rich cultural experience to students.
Rooted in the traditional art form of Kuchipudi, KDA has expanded its reach, establishing studios in Germantown MD, Ellicott City MD, Damascus MD, and Herndon VA. The academy, celebrating its 25th year, has seamlessly transitioned to virtual classes during challenging times, showcasing resilience and dedication to preserving the beauty of Kuchipudi.

Kuchipudi Dance
